

Our eight new guest scholars for 2011 arrived on July 29, 2011.
The guest scholars are master's degree candidates from Wuhan University in Hubei province, China. Their major is teaching Mandarin language to non-native speakers. This year, guest scholars will be teaching in Wilson School District, Oley Valley School District, Southern Lehigh School District, and Pen Argyl Area School District and the BCIU Education Centre. In addition, guest scholars will be teaching Mandarin to Brandywine Heights Area School District, Twin Valley School District, the BCIU Alsace Program, Unionville Chadds Ford School District, Great Valley School District, Exeter Township School District, Schuylkill Valley School District and Lancaster Country Day School, using state-of-the-art distance learning equipment located at the BCIU.
