CURRICULUM EVALUATION & NEEDS ASSESSMENT

School districts may contract with the BCIU to coordinate a curriculum evaluation/needs assessment. We customize the evaluation depending on a district's needs, such as a single content area (English Language Arts, K-12), or organization level (e.g., an elementary school program).

A team of evaluators consisting of administrators and teachers conducts a three-day on-site visit to observe classes and review policies, curricula, and assessment data. We then provide you with a portrait of what is occurring in your district's schools, highlighting strengths and offering recommendations.
