Our child care centers may have a holiday schedule that is different than Berks County’s public schools. Please check the holiday calendar for the dates we are closed.

Inclement Weather

Our centers may close due to inclement weather. Closing or delayed opening of centers is announced by the following media outlets, beginning as early in the morning as possible.

However, the most reliable source of information is the BCIU’s Web site, www.berksiu.org. We announce center delays/closings on the home page immediately once a decision has been made to alter the normal schedule.
